Claus Meyer to give opening keynote speech

Claus Meyer, culinary entrepreneur & co-founder of the Noma restaurant - awarded two Michelin stars and voted four times “best restaurant in the world” - will give the opening keynote speech at MAPIC FOOD on Wednesday 8 May at 12.00

Founder of the New Nordic Cuisine movement & named on the Plant-Forward Global 50, Meyer is a world-renowned restaurateur, food activist and cookbook author working for more than 30 years to unfold the potentials within our food systems and culinary heritage. In addition to Noma, Meyer has co-founded & co-owns also Michelin-starred restaurant Agern and ASKA, as well as Bolivia’s best restaurant GUSTU and he has founded the Melting Pot Foundation believing in food as a driver for social change.
